HISTORY OF DALAT NATIONAL MILITARY ACADEMY
The Vietnamese National Military Academy (VNMA) was founded in December 1948 in Hue. Under French operation, the academy was simply a nine-month officer training school designed to produce infantry platoon leaders. In 1950 it moved to Dalat because of better local weather and remained under French operation until after the signing of the Geneva Accords in 1954, when the Vietnamese assumed control. In 1955 the American advisory effort began, and the curriculum was extended to one year and in 1956 to two years. In 1959 President Diem first declared the academy to be a full four-year, degree-granting, university-level institution. Expansion planning and construction began, but the program floundered because of the conflicting short-term demand for junior officers and lack of a qualified academic faculty. As a result, the academy graduated three 3-year classes but no 4-year classes and, in 1963, reverted to the production of enlightened platoon leaders with two years of training. The concept was similar to U.S. officer candidate schools throughout 1965. In December 1966, Premier Ky issued a decree which reinstituted a four-year educational requirement, with graduates entitled to receive a Bachelor of Science degree, and changed the academy mission to the following:
The Vietnamese National Military Academy is responsible for training regular army officers for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Vietnam who possess a university level of instruction and a firm military background.

The Vietnamese National Army or Vietnam National Army (Vietnamese: Quân đội Quốc gia Việt Nam, "National Army of Vietnam", French: Armée Nationale Vietnamienne, "Vietnamese National Army") was the State of Vietnam's military force created shortly after that.

Military School In Indochina (1952)

On April 20, 1952, the Dalat National Military Academy celebrated its first promotion (Hoàng Diệu). in the presence of Chief of State, H.M. Emperor Bảo Đại, Prime Minister Trần Văn Hữu, General Governor of French Indochina Gautier and French General Salan, commander of the CEFEO.

He also spoke about meeting President Nixon, his experiences as a leader in Vietnam, and his experiences when he came to America as a refugee.
As a young pilot, Mr. Ky led South Vietnam’s first air strike against the North and became an Air Force commander who was picked to lead his country after numerous coups had left his country’s leadership in jeopardy. Mr. Ky served as prime minister of South Vietnam until 1967 and was involved in the Vietnam war after his tenure as prime minister had ended. He left Vietnam in 1975 during the fall of Saigon.

Nhân Lễ Kỷ Niệm Ngày Quân Lực Việt Nam Cộng Hòa tại New Orleans, Louisiana vào năm 1987; đứng trước một cử tọa gồm hàng ngàn cựu quân nhân Hoa Kỳ và Việt Nam Cộng Hòa, Đại Tướng Westmoreland đã tuyên bố nguyên văn, "Thay mặt cho quân đội Hoa Kỳ, tôi xin lỗi các bạn cựu quân nhân của Quân Lực Miền Nam Việt Nam vì chúng tôi đã bỏ rơi các bạn." (On behalf of the United States Armed Forces, I would like to apologize to the veterans of the South Vietnamese Armed Forces for abandoning you guys.)   Cả hội trường New Orleans Convention Center gồm hàng ngàn cựu quân nhân Việt-Mỹ và gia đình đã ôm choàng lấy nhau mắt lệ nghẹn ngào vì lời xin lỗi đầy tình huynh đệ chi binh của Đại Tướng Westmoreland.

Phạm Duy tham gia cùng với Bill Crofut, Stephen Addiss và Peter Seeger trong chương trình về nhạc dân ca của HOA KY,được phát thanh năm 1966 trên đài WNJU ở Newark, New Jersey rồi một năm sau được phát thanh một lần trên kênh WDNT ở thành phố New York.-Phạm Duy qua đời ngày 27 tháng 1 2013, rồi Pete Seeger qua đời đúng một năm sau - ngày 27 tháng 1 2014. -Pete Seeger là nhân vật chính trong phong trào đổi mới nhạc dân gian Mỹ từ những năm 1930. Phong trào ấy lên cao điểm trong những năm 1960.Đây là một cuộc giao lưu văn hóa đích thực. Có dân ca Việt và Mỹ. Có đàn tranh và đàn banjo. Steve Addiss (hiện nay là giáo sư chuyên về văn hóa Nhật Bản) và Bill Crofut (người học nghề hát dân ca với Seeger) đã đi Việt Nam để tìm hiểu về nhạc Việt. Họ làm việc với Phạm Duy rất nhiều. Họ đi lưu diễn trong Việt Nam và cũng thực hiện một vài đĩa hát.

Tấm hình chụp trong lúc Bạch Yến xuất hiện trên show đặc biệt của ông Bob Hope: Hope NBC TV. Bạch Yến đang đàm thoại với hai tài tử người Hoa Kỳ lừng danh là ca sĩ tài tử Bing Crosby và ông Bob Hope. Đây là tấm hình có giá trị cao và hiếm có của Bạch Yến.(1966)
Có thể nói, Bạch Yến là ca sĩ Việt Nam duy nhất hiện diện bên cạnh những nghệ sĩ quốc tế trong hơn một thập niên. Ai đã xem phim Green Berets(1968) do tài tử John Wayne đóng vai chính, chắc hẳn vẫn còn nhớ tiếng hát Bạch Yến trong cuốn phim chiến tranh đó.

-1969_Viện trưởng Học Viện CSGG Đại Tá Đàm Trung Mộc (Đứng bên phải) và Đại Tá Trần Minh Công (Đứng bên trái) Viện trưởng sau cùng (30-04-1975).
-Ðại tá Ðàm Trung Mộc cưụ Viện Trưởng Học Viện Cảnh Sát QG. Sau 30-4, ông bị giam tại Chí Hòa để rồi tháng 10/1976, ông bị đưa ra Trại Vĩnh Quang, Vĩnh Phú rồi về Hà Tây (Hà Sơn Bình) và ông mất tại đó vào ngày 28/12/1982, thọ 65 tuổi.
